Find the right chandelier for your space.
Choosing the right chandelier is about more than simply measuring the room. The ideal fixture should complement the size of your room, ceiling height, table dimensions, and overall scale of your furnishings.
Whether you're selecting a circular or rectangular chandelier, our goal is to help you find a fixture that feels intentional, proportional, and appropriate for your space.
CIRCULAR CHANDELIERS
Our circular chandeliers are offered in three signature sizes:
24"
THE INTIMATE STATEMENT
The 24" chandelier is designed for spaces where you want handcrafted Western character without overwhelming the room.
Ideal for:
- Smaller dining tables
- Breakfast rooms
- Smaller dining areas
- Entryways
- Sitting areas
- Smaller ranch spaces
Think: refined, intimate, and detailed.
48"
THE SIGNATURE STATEMENT
The 48" chandelier provides a larger presence and works beautifully as the focal point of a substantial dining or entertaining space.
Ideal for:
- Large dining rooms
- 8–10 person dining tables
- Large living areas
- Ranch entertaining spaces
- Open-concept rooms
- Luxury homes with substantial ceiling space
Think: balanced, substantial, and commanding.
72"
THE GRAND STATEMENT
The 72" chandelier is designed for spaces where the lighting fixture itself becomes a major architectural element.
Ideal for:
- Large luxury ranch homes
- Hacienda-style interiors
- Estate dining rooms
- 10–12+ person dining tables
- Large entertaining spaces
- High or vaulted ceilings
- Large great rooms
Think: dramatic, architectural, and unmistakable.
RECTANGULAR CHANDELIERS
Rectangular chandeliers are selected differently from circular chandeliers.
Instead of focusing primarily on diameter, you should consider the length and width of the fixture in relation to the table and room.
WHAT TO CONSIDER
TABLE LENGTH
The chandelier should visually relate to the length of the table beneath it.
A longer dining table generally calls for a longer chandelier.
TABLE WIDTH
Consider how much visual space the fixture occupies above the table. The chandelier should complement the table without making the space feel crowded.
ROOM SIZE
A larger room can support a larger, more substantial rectangular fixture.
CEILING HEIGHT
Higher ceilings generally allow for greater visual presence and larger fixtures.
FURNITURE SCALE
The chandelier should feel proportional to the table, chairs, architectural details, and other furnishings in the room.
HOW TO CHOOSE YOUR RECTANGULAR CHANDELIER
SMALLER SPACE
Consider a more compact rectangular fixture for:
- Smaller dining rooms
- Smaller dining tables
- Breakfast areas
- Smaller ranch spaces
LARGE DINING SPACE
A larger rectangular chandelier works well for:
- 8–10+ person dining tables
- Large ranch dining rooms
- Open-concept dining areas
- Luxury entertaining spaces
ESTATE-SCALE SPACE
Large-format rectangular chandeliers are appropriate for:
- Estate homes
- Large ranch properties
- Hacienda-style homes
- Great rooms
- Large dining halls
- Game rooms
- Spaces with high or vaulted ceilings
CIRCULAR OR RECTANGULAR?
CHOOSE CIRCULAR IF:
You want a fixture that works naturally over a round or square table, or you want the chandelier to create a centralized architectural focal point.
CHOOSE RECTANGULAR IF:
You have a long rectangular dining table or another elongated space where the fixture should follow the lines of the room and furniture.
Neither shape is inherently better. The right choice depends on the architecture, furniture, and proportions of your particular space.

A NOTE ABOUT SCALE
Every Brazos Custom Lighting chandelier is designed to make a statement, but proper scale matters.
Our chandeliers are handcrafted statement pieces intended for luxury ranch homes, Hacienda-style interiors, estates, lodges, and other spaces where quality craftsmanship and distinctive Western design are part of the architecture.
The goal isn't simply to choose the biggest chandelier that fits.
The goal is to choose the chandelier that belongs in the room.
